I feel that MULLETHEAD is their punk rock masterpiece.

CATCH A BAD ONE or I WANT SOME are close seconds, I think, while TOUGH GUY is probably their tightest-sounding punk effort.

Just curious as to what others think.

Jo got taste! Great job!!!

I've gotta say they nailed EGG RAID at the Sasquatch Festival. I would kill for a full-length punk album. Beastie punk songs live are so fun...

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS.

Believe Me. Mike's delivery is savage, I also like Lee Majors a lot, and i think it should count.

I was going to put Lee Majors, because I definitely like it more than any of their other hardcore stuff outside of Time for Livin. I had some great memories listening to Time for Livin.

Thanks!

And I am all for an album of punk songs or just a punk show. Gosh man I wish I were older back in the day to have gone to one of those shows. So many of you are so DAMN LUCKY! Ugh!

Anyway some of my favorite show moments all involve them playing those type songs with Mike on vocals. FIERCE!

The above link will take you to a place from which you may download the 1982 Frontline Demo (previously unreleased) which contains the song from which Time for Livin' is derived. I spent the last 15 years looking for this material...and finally found someone who had it about two weeks ago. Enjoy!

Mullet Head is epic, yeah. Favourite would be Time for Livin (really liking them opening with it) or Egg Raid. Gotta give props to Lee Majors Come Again, for making me want to include it but not being sure if it fits. That's a good feeling. (y)

Lee Majors is awesome too I agree. I love fact that all of them are doing vocals together on that one. Will die when I see it LIVE!!

It's good how it's essentially a rap song, but it's a hardcore song, but it's a rap song. And the hook is class.

Right! That's exactly what I was thinking! It's a combination of all they do best. :p

I managed to avoid most the set-lists before they last came here (Sep 07 I think). Best opening to a gig, they were about 40 minutes late onstage and Brixton just erupted. I was with a few casual fans as well, they were blpwn away with the diversity. Damn right!

None of them. I hadnt really thought of LEe Majors in the same bracket as the rest, thats all right but the rest are not for me. I do realise its all part of their history etc but when they turn up on albums its kinda frustrating to listen to. I always wonder what other tracks/beats/samples got rejected. I was so glad when Hello nasty had nothing like that on.

Each to their own though.
