I think it's just acceptable now. I mean, I can say "my internet friend" and I don't get made fun of. with twitter being so popular, i think it's a lot more common and accepted to become friends with people you've never metin real life. or at least to maintain a correspondence.

though, I would definitely like to keep here and fb separate.

I really don't think anyone could figure it out unless they were obsessed with digging and finding something. and that would only happen if i were lady gaga or the president. i'm pretty decent at finding crap about people on the internet, and i couldn'tfigure out an old friend of mine's secret messageboard (nor could he figure out this one).

so, we just can't become famous. or somebody on here might rat us out.

It is weird because the BBMB is kind of anonymous yet I am honest and more to the point. I am also more sarcastic than on FB. I guess it is because former co-workers, high school & college friends, family, etc might get bothered by constant inane and insane posts. Don't get me wrong because I am still myself on Facebook but I am more toned down I guess. I definitely think the board is filled with creative and funny people. I wish there was more of an active community. I guess FB has it beat in that respect although I only have a handful of creative FB friends that post the odd and intersting things that make me laugh. Mostly my FB community is posting hum drum stuff.

I do however enjoy collecting 'odd' FB friends. There is only one other person in FB land with the same name as me, a girl from Ohio, so added her, and luckily she thought it was funny too. I would honestly rather that than another distant school friend who wants to bump up their count.

I would be FB friends with an internet only aquaintance, but only if they didn't litter my new feed with pictures of small children with spaghetti stuck to their face. Or bible quotes.
