I asked because I was actually going to meet the man. My gf works with him and she set up a meeting with all three of us.

He's alive and well. Working in Washington DC at a nonprofit, writing a book on their history.

Apparently had some personal and legal troubles over the last ten years, but he seems to have put all of that behind him. Seemed very excited about his future and told me about a few projects he's got kicking around.

Was so stoked to hang out with him. Very nice, personable guy who told me some great tales about various things Beastie. He says that he speaks to Money Mark quite often and Mario C on occasion, too.
