no. I literally just took a sip of tap water.
I drink tap water at home. used to drink it at work too, until the tap started spitting out rust with the water. now I try to buy gallons of plain filtered water for about $1.29 each, to fill up my plain aluminium water bottle.
but I do occasionally buy and drink bottled water when I'm thirsty and out and about.
why? lemme guess, you collect rain water in earthen jugs made of purified clay? then distill it yourself and carry it in waxed canvas pouches?

Sorry if I offended you. I just drink tap out of my Nalgene (and occasional purchase if the need arises).
I do like your alternative thought
Just helping people see that bottled water just may very well be a scam beyond a threat to our environment.

Bottled water is a scam and we're selling our rights to clean water off to the highest bidder so they can bottle it and sell it back to us. Out clean watr supply in the US is dwindling fast. China is shipping tankers full of Great Lakes water back to the homeland as we speak. Tap water is not so great either. Chlorine is a pretty shitty substance even in small amounts. Keep in mind that 97% of water sent to your home is not ingested. Water companies know this and temper the "cleanliness" of the water accordingly. I have a three stage home filter but would like to get a whole house RO but the cost is still too prohibitive. I do buy bottled occassionally and don't feel bad about it 'cause I try and keep it to minimum. Remember, if you don't have a filter, you ARE the filter.

I never knew the thing on water till I watched Flow. Glad that being a fan of the guys is able to educate me about things too. :D With that said, I couldn't believe that the little town here in America had their own water in the local streams being bottled and sold back to them. That's insane! And even more insane is that I knew other countries had trouble getting clean water but I didn't know the water bottle industry played a role in it. That alone made me stop using them!

no problem, you just sometimes have a very antagonistic way of phrasing things. so I responded in kind.
it is important to get the word out though.

o Dorothy, good Lord, Jesus, and Allah with the side and some saurkraut
nothing antagonistic in my post ya silly cunt :p
But yes our water supply no matter the source deserves the upmost interest, respect, and protection.
and yes, when we build our house we are getting/making rain & snow water collection devices for non-potable use

just saying, your tone sometimes overshadows your point. I may have taken this thread as more accusatory than you wanted it to be perceived.
I'll ask you kindly to please not call me a "cunt", even in jest.

Dorothy, honey child...as if your a budding rose of sanity
My initial post had nothing inflammatory, accusatory, or whatever you wanna call it. It was a question - how you perceive it is your pierogi
So flame away!
No need for war over water - even though we'll be seeing those in the future :(

I'm not flaming you. I'm telling you that your tone is often antagonistic. and you just keep proving me right.
call me all the names you want, I just hope you raise your child to be a more respectful person than you are.
and I hope someone else is in charge of teaching grammar. "you are" = "you're", not "your"
