Man, I just finished mixing, bouncing, and mastering 3 instrumental tracks on my 8 track recorder. I'm really not pleased with the outcome of the sound and clarity.

They sound great on my studio monitor headphones but when I give them a try with regular headphones they don't sound as good.

These are final copies too, I deleted all the other tracks after I finished mastering.

I'm just wondering if anyone has the skills to tweak them out a bit more for clarity and if so, I"ll send you the tracks.

well ... considering I am an international Internet music production phenomenon, I will take a stab sending you in a good direction.


First... a little reverb and a little delay..

next... get a Rhodes eclectic piano and run it through a cry baby wah peddle.

Make sure you add bass

backup tracks before bouncing.....

I have to delete the tracks to clear up space on my memory card because it's only 258mb and my recorder is so ancient that I'm having hard times trying to find a 1 gig card.

I could put the tracks on my computer but I haven't learned how to export them back to my recorder.

It takes a lot of time to record these songs and I'm lazy.

the new tascam dp008 can be purchased for $200, and it has a usb conection and 8g card is $10 ... that was my new christmas presant and for portable quality it cant be beat FYI i have no personal interest in tascam

time to upgrade

or just by a new mac and use gerage band
