Did we or did we not all play with fire at some point in our adolescence?
You know most of it ends harmlessly but sometimes a garage goes up,hopefully not a house...I'm curious how common it is...8 out of 10 colleagues have confessed or relate directly to this hopefully fleeting stage of juvenille development...male and female alike...
Please relate your experience...there may be a thesis in this...

my pyro period was at about the age of 8. i really liked cutting off the heard of matches, putting them all together and making 'bombs' out of them.. it all ended when i lit one of our garbage cans and had 10 foot flames in the air. when my parents found the charred remains, my ass was swiftly kicked (y)

My friends and I used to make trips downtown to get fireworks in China Town, before it was considered a bad as selling crack to a child.. we would go insane with those shits
I remember little gangs of us would walk around town putting M80s in manholes, Thunder Bombs by the playground, scaring the shit out of people walking their dogs (they generally couldn't chase us)... we'd approach the walker going the opposite way , we'd light off a loud ass banger as soon as they passed... have you ever seen a grown man in the fetal position on the sidewalk?
It was a really fun day with GI JOEs when I discovered you could make a flame thrower with a can of spray paint and a lighter (y)

The first money making venture I had outside of a paper route was selling fireworks at a extremely elevated price to younger kids at halloween...my experimentation with the fuego came to an end when I took a model of a german tank, poured some of dad's cologne over it and lit up in my bathroom sink...I was trying to distress it so it look burned up,we also used to heat up pins to poke "bullet holes" in models...anyway's this model went up like a mofo, melting molten plastic, fire alarm triggered, destroyed the finish on the sink, scared the shit out of myself...I recall trying to bribe my brother into taking the blame...coward...busted!

haha, paying your bro to take the blame.. slick(y) he musta been the bad one
In the 5th grade, I saw an ad for 'ninja smoke bombs' in the back of Kung-Fu Magazine.. i went in telling all my friends about them.. the ad said you could just drop them on the ground and be surrounded by a distraction to make a quick getaway. so i got about 10 of us to put money together, i went to the bank, got a money order and mailed the order out. when they came back they were "bang snaps"(n)
there is something deeply satisfying about burning shit
