Any thoughts on the possibly historic snowstorm?

everyone here in the Boston area is sick of this snow. We have gotten over 60 inches so far this season. The kids are out of school at least one day a week. no place to put the snow that's on the way...I am so looking forward to spring!
it's not entirely american, as we're getting between 20-30 centimetres tonight and tomorrow.
die winter die.

Its sunny and beautiful in Los Angeles. Been in the 70s-80s for awhile. Not really feeling any of the snowstorm. Rained a bit last Sunday.
w00t! Go America! Snowstorm...
Does it make it historic because it's american? When Canada think back to the poor snow in 2010 for the olympics then the epic snow the next year it'll be come to be known as the Historic American Snowstorm.
Not sure, but other places might of had snow to?

I could say I'm fed up with it myself. I knew it was going to be a bad one this year.
Ok, I've seen the pictures from ground and space now of the snow. Holy shit that is some hardcore snow. I can see how that shit gets annoying.

The thing that is annoying is that its new snow piling on top of snow that has been here since the initial blizzard just after Christmas.
It just ends up on the sides of the streets, there's cars all over the place that haven't moved at all for weeks.
It's dirty snow too, especially here. It doesn't look nice at all.

We had it in Europe a month ago or so.
Yeah it's pretty fucked up situation to be stuck like that. It's good for reading the books and listening music tho'. But even that can become tiresome when you have no other options.
Go Spring go! The depression is the best at the spring lol

Holy smokes! Its 40 degrees with no win in Los Angeles this morning. People are bundled up like there is 10 feet of snow outside. Scarfs, glove, red faces...

When I said historic I meant for Chicago. Weather channel guy says most snow in Chicago history but I think he is mistaken.

Wow! We've been getting it steady since this morning.
I feel so bad for the parts that already had TONS of it sitting around
hang in there!
I wish the hospital closed...but no...I get to drive to work in bad snow storms.
my job's policy is that they won't close unless the T shuts down. which it never does unless it's seriously literally apocalyptically bad out there and then i'd probably have bigger worries than going in to work. i mean i'm happy to have a job and all but still, i'm a little tired of walking to work in this weather. maybe just a snow day here or there!
anyway today the snow turned to rain and then it got below freezing so all the melted snow turned to ice. then it started snowing again
beats cyclones or mass uprisings i guess

we had our snowpocalypse here last winter.
thank god it hasn't come down too hard this year, because it would make my outside job even worse than it already is.

I'm from Ohio. I don't need to man up. I grew up there and there's pics of me on top of my house sledding down because of the blizzard we had in '76 which covered the whole house.
That video was cool though. I've done it minus the skis down some highways.
I just have gotten less tolerant with snow as I aged, son.
Actually the snow looks cool now since it rained the other day. It's all coated with ice now.

Chicago...Americas quitters.
wtf?
whatever, only idiots would've gotten on the drive when they did. sorry, but it's the truth. every single weather person said, "the storm's comin' at 4 pm", yet people get on a road that's right next to the lake at 6? give me a break. I was out the door getting provisions, and on the way home by 3, and it was already getting bad.
My house shook and my bedroom window glass almost got sucked right out of the frame, but luckily I was quick with the tape. There was thunder and lightning and people's power went out. My coworker's apartment got down to 42 degrees when her power went out.
Mostly everyone got to take the day off the next day. it was nutz, people were all being really nice to each other in my neighborhood, like it was a friendly ski village or something.
Now the fun's over and it's just annoying. I'm lucky I have awesome waterproof boots, so I'm not too bothered by walking through drifts and puddles. But it's definitely a hassle.
oh yeah, and I got really sick there for a few days, so that sucked...well, I'm still sick actually. and it still sucks. my brain ain't quite right yet. I also cut my finger really badly with a kitchen knife while doing dishes during the storm, which made me really angry. I mean, come on! it's the snowpocalypse and I damn near cut my fucking finger off? I need all my fingers for survival! jesus! idiot!

I'm enjoying all of the meteorologists with their weather-boners...
"People will listen to me, and finally respect me!"
Naw, just until the storm blows over, then your guessing on what the weather will be like won't be important anymore.
