Lots of stuff from Brooklyn Dust the Jimmy Green mix. I'd not come across large portions of this online, so it's nice to stream the shit while I re-write Twilight with Zombies replacing vampires and Minotaurs replacing werewolves.

phatlip2's channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/phatlip2) - nice one ;)

Beastie Boys (http://jimbojonesconveniencestore.blogspot.com/2010/02/my-beastie-boys-mixtape.html)

A man after my own heart, ending with Something's got to Give.

Yeah Premo and Beastie Boys was always going to hit. This dude has a great ear. There is another mix he did of all Premo instros and BIG verses.

Jayou blended with Grasshopper Unit and Black Mags with Stop that Train are fucking nuts.

Thanks kp for the link. Downloading now. His Marvin Gaye mix looks pretty hot, too.

first, WOW. that rhyme nostalgia mix is just wonderful. damn. always was intrigued to hear them over those golden era, premier/pete rock type beats. they sound so nice over that one especially (pro beat by marco polo). made my day.

its funny, just yesterday I thought I had the dopest idea ever to sample that "check, test, chest" bit from the commentary (makes me crack up every time) for a track. looks like Jimmy Green beat me to it. ironic though, it was just yesterday the thought came to me, and just today my idea squandered, haha. (i'll have to try anyways :o)

The use of the commentary is a stroke of genius. I'm sure you could use it and make it dope :)

Love the '94 "Intergalactic" demo! Anyone know when/where this snippet has appeared anywhere else? Anyone have it in their possession? Was it released with any other demos around that time?

I've had it for years but honestly don't remember how I got it (digital only). Ironically I always thought of it as a template for 'Just a Test' but I love it, it's a sick little track.
