Can somebody please post some photos of the Beastie Boys in front of the Atwater Village Sign ? I also need some photos of them from the back staircase of the old G-Son Studios ( if there is any ). I am doing a Beastie Boys Atwater era 1992 project. Can anybody help ?

the sign is on riverside drive right before glendale blvd. and is still the exact same... the studio is now an office for an insurance firm, but the stairwell is still accessible from a back alley...

also, Turch, I believe Diplo bought G-Son from that insurance company recently to house his Mad Decent Records label.

I was under the assumption from that Mad Decent story they were talking about their old studio in NYC.

looks like they are talking about 485 Broadway

Hey Everybody ,

This is Ben ( Porkys1982 ). I am still in the process of putting together the Beastie Atwater Village Short Compilation DVD , from my trip there last month. But what i need to find more of is : ( THE BEASTIE BOYS TALKING ABOUT G-SON STUDIOS , ANY MORE PHOTOS FROM G-SON ( 1990 - 1998 ) , OR ANY VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THEM OUTSIDE IN THE BACK , BY THE STAIRS OF G-SON. - PICTURES OR VIDEO ) Keep in mind I already have the 1992 Pump it Up Interview stuff , and Mario talking about the Atwater days from the RudBull Interview. Can someone think of any other footage that is out there ? I am looking for anything to do with the Beasties in Atwater and or G-son to include in my Documentary.
