View Full Version : Women lying about their size

wtf? it's rampant on the internet, just give an honest review, you jerks! I bought a raincoat in one size larger because the ladies in the reviews were all, "it runs really small", etc. but the coat was huge! like massive, like a giant would wear it. Anyway, it wasn't worth returning, because I'd have had to pay a "return fee" AND pay for the shipping. (sheesh, shoulda read the return policy more thoroughly.) I just gave it away instead.

anyway, I'm also pissed because underwear is way too big now.

and I'm reading clothing store reviews and one girl is all "the clothes are too small, I'm a size 4 and I can barely fit the large". sure.

Well, that'll teach me to read reviews of Forever21. (I have a giftcard burnin a hole in my pocket)

I just don't know why anybody would bother even bringing up their size if they were going to lie about it. especially when it means people like me will believe them and then buy too big size. it happens with shoes too. dumb.

oh well. Off I go, to shop with free money, woo hoo!

That's stupid. Who the hell cares! I'm a proud size 40-42 or 10-12. :p

usually i read the reviews to find out quality... then grab the tape measure and go by the store's size chart.
sucks about the rain coat...

i find it hilarious when a chick is embarrassed or a little worried to admit their size or talk about it in front of their dude. guys have no fucking clue what a 4 means or a 12. don't know don't care.

or when chicks are all concerned about stretch marks or cellulite. no guy have ever been all like.... yeah she's fucking hot and all, but nah, she's got cellulite on her thighs!

I think women are particularly delusional about their shoe size.

Blame the diet industry. One of the most evil industries there is.

I used to feel weird sharing size in front of other women if they were petite but I'm over it at this point. But when reviewing something I'm honest because I'd want other reviewers to be honest too. Weird that they would do that even in REVIEWS. They are anonymous anyway.

That's right. Some guys have told me that already. Only gay guys are too much concerned about that. Real men like the whole female body (or not), they don't worry about stuff that comes together. Only if it's way too much.

Actually when a guy sees a girl that's too perfect, like not one cellulite, he thinks "wow, that might be a man". Some of them told me that already.

More to MSF than to people that are talking about girls talking about size in front of boys:

ya know there are different "sizes" not just by manufacturer/store, but by country/region, too. I learned when I tried bra shopping in Kenya. Apparently the British system that they follow runs MUCH smaller-- brief panic!!

like little j said, read the measurement charts and hope THEY don't lie;)

Went shopping with a girl last weekend, she tried on some jeans that were supposed to be her size, they were too small, she wouldn't buy the next size larger because she WOULD NOT buy jeans in that size. (The next size up that would actually fit)

ha ha, I did a similar thing with a bridesmaid dress once. The dresses ran pretty small, and I would've had to go 2 sizes up to fit in one...so I bought one that was too small, went on a diet, and started working out so I could fit in it. because I was like, "aw, hell nah, I AM NOT THAT SIZE". ha. I lost enough girth to fit in the dress by the wedding, so it all worked out for the best. (y)

i always just buy S sizes so theres more pressure to stay (get) slim

there is a big difference to being slim to being healthy.
