It's out, so far not bad. You could hit me up for a link if you want (if only to let me return all of the favours so far)- I know you're all probably more savvy than that since I will only direct you to you-know-where because I'm uninspired and into the easy scores.

I just downloaded it last night. Shit goes hard. I've never bitched about it before and I know it's his schtick but even I got sick of the coke references in this thing. So much shit rhymes with "kilos" though.

Have you heard Hell Hath No Fury? It's more than a "shtick", he's one of the few rappers who can keep it real when talking about dealing.
The tape is nice, but it's just not quite as listenable as Clipse. I wish Malice would wake the fuck up so they could bring out another quality Clipse album. Casket was a huge let-down, although there were still a few quality tracks on it... this tape is probably better than that overall but I feel like Pusha Ton doesn't quite work as a solo artist. Maybe he should stick to being Ye's wingman.

I gotta say those this new style they are coming with, pusha on this and clipse on the casket is a little monotenous to me.

I figure Jay is regarded as one of the best even with an over-representation of pure shit in his catalogue, so I can allow Pusha a couple of mis-steps. It's not that there are verses on here that are poor, just that some of the beat selections are possibly more conventional than I'd prefer.

Compared to We Got It For Cheap Vol. 2 or Pusha's verses on the G.O.O.D. Friday drops/MBDTF stuff, there's not many high points here. I liked RAID - good Neptunes beat and 50 Cent sounds decent.
Lately I've been digging on Exclusive Audio Footage - the first, unreleased Clipse album - some of it is sketchy but there are few slammers. Well worth seeking out!
