haha(y)
I used to like it and i will keep an eye on it but i cant actually be arsed watching advertised helmets go round and round anymore.

haha, yeah. The green in me disagrees with it. I wouldn't admit to other green party members I watch it. I do however justify it from the tech angle. They make great strides in efficiency and aero dynamic feats that we see on our cars 10 years later. Like with KERS now - although it's all a bit unwanted I think atm. Tenuious I know but we all have our guilty secrets :D
But still, the 20 odd countries they fly billions of pounds worth of kit over isn't very green.

c'mon dude. if you haven't got anything nice to say, blah blah ecetera ecetera...
time = doesn't make sense. what do we have time for; what do we not have time for... how long is a piece of string...
money = the amount of tourism each country gains from these events is ridiculous. the publicity is huge as well; you can't hate on it. if it does good for the country's economy, go for it. same applies for soccer.
resources = fuel and rubber? alcohol? people power? i suppose but the fuel they burn is probably better for the ozone more that my, your and everyone else's car on this board put together.
vettel killed it in melbourne. looks unstoppable for the rest of the season. webber really is the number 2; he won't get anywhere near the attention of seb. now i'm hoping for alonso, or atleast, hamilton to bring the fight to seb.

your attempt to defend your interest/hobby = cute but flawed. kinda like a kitten with no front legs. my statement, however, stands on its own.

Vettel looked dominant, he pulled away early and got by button when button should have been holding him up for hamilton.
I guess mclaren had a rough offseason while testing, so they said hamilton was pleased with his second place.... I wanted to see how the mercedes cars improved but we couldn't judge from melbourne.... i think rosberg will out race shumacher for most of the season.... and massa looks off the pace. there is no chance of ferrari winning the constructors title with him in the second seat.
Pretty good race from the mexican rookie but I think they may have been DQ'd.
I don't know what to think of the new technology changes... the wing opening and the tires.... time will tell.
Every time they introduce tools to make it easier to over take, Ferrari just make their car a foot wider.
Also Alonso dominated the first race of last season - it seemed like game over for the rest, but he quickly went away then had to come back. F1 has not being dominated by one team or driver for the past 4 or 5 years. Redbull have hit a sweet spot for now but it will only take a EUREKA moment from another team to find a few hundredths of a second per lap and you've got someone else sitting on pole and then staying there until the end while Webber is playing catch up, like Alonso and the rest was last season.
Still enjoy seeing Schumacher not doing well (y)

well i tried so durp durp, i suck.
i still stand by my first line.
i hate premier league; don't see me running through that thread with a banner.
enjoying this race.
Silly Button on his pit stop.
Paul Di Resta is definitely one to watch for the future, maybe a McClaren driver in the future which'd release Hamilton to Ferrari.
I think if you didn't enjoy that race then you'll never enjoy motor racing. Impossible to guess the result until the final lap (y)
As much as I like Button I enjoyed seeing Webber take him at the end.

It was a great race. Loved watching Mark fly through the field. What a race for him.

Best F1 i watched in a while.
There is a rumour that NewsCorp might make a bid to control parts of F1. Not sure how I feel about that, I go out of my way to avoid that company although I know it's pretty much impossible to do so.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport > F1 racing
Another great race in Turkey.
I think as the season goes on Qualifying will become less and less important. With the tyres falling away as they do, keeping a pair of softs for the last ten laps can have you gaining a couple of seconds per lap - unless all the teams do it obviously. But if say you're 4th and 20 seconds behind, if you have that advantage to plough through the field while the rest are struggling, it's gonna be easier over taking pickings than at the start of the race and would be worth a gamble for the teams out of the three.
MONACO !!!!
It's looking good (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/sarahholt/girls_getty595.jpg)

as long as alonso is nowhere near the top of the table i'm happy. for some reason i just can't stand that wanker
I've always had a dislike for Ferrari but I don't mind Alonso. Schumacher annoys me and always has. I know he is good but it's nice to see him a significant #2 in the team and Rosberg out qualifying him - except it doesn't look like Rosberg will getting out in Q1 after his crash earlier.

I agree with this statement... maybe its just for the competition but i found myself rooting for alonso to pass vettel.
Monaco turned out to be a great race, i thought alonso was going to pass him, but after the tire change after the red flag, there was no getting around Seb.
He's running away with it, hamilton is fun to watch work his way though the field but i cant see him catching vettel in the standings.

i actually dont like ferrari or alonso, even when he was with renault. maybe it's because i was a big fan of raikkonen and always thought he should've won a title with mclaren.
anyway weird race. the restart was pointless if they let vettel alonso and button change tyres. i was looking forward to seeing how that worked out
I felt bad for Button but it was like DC was saying on the BBC coverage that position is everything.
Without the 2nd safety car though the last 10 laps with button all over the back of them would of been amazing.
I like Hamilton still but I think that is only because he is British. He is getting annoying to watch causing accidents when he is so much better than that.
I am really liking Kamui Kobayashi to. His second or third season I think? Give him a fast car like at McClaren and I think you'll upset the top 5.

Yeah he's been good. Maldonaldo has been impressive as well. Petrov and Perez too.
i can't help but think of Step Brothers whenever i hear kobayashi's name get called. add me to the support wagon too; he's gonna come good very soon.
ps. i still hate vettel's face.
if just search kobayashi in google it's the second page before Kamui comes up.
Before that it's about a Japanese professional eater
edit: to add to that, I wanted to have a look at Kobayashi's record in karting. It isn't great - thought it would be better with his aggressive style where you can overtake. Maybe F1 is where he'll grow though, he is only 24.

i really really would've loved to have seen what Kubica could've done with this years Renault. Petrov and Heidfeld had some pretty good results early in the season but really lived up to expectation
Kubica has just come out of hospital I heard. Don't think he'll be racing this year but maybe next.
Wonder if you lose anything - I mean his hand was nearly severed off I think.

I had a date! I was gutted when I saw the report afterwards.
This date was very successful though and totally worth it, so yeah I'm not too gutted I suppose.
I've got/stayed up for 2am type races before. I'm kinda nerdy for this sport though.

Button showed that he really can be a superb driver.
Hamilton was a bit of a dick again.
Webber was disappointing as usual.
Schumacher's still got it.
Vettel fucked up under pressure. GOOD.

so yeah, vettel won again. cool
It was kinda blinding obvious Vettel and Redbull had both titles around June. Due to life commitments I haven't really been able to watch much since then either.
I like Vettel I think, but I don't want it to get boring at the top - midfield is still great but I would prefer a closer title next year.
RIP Dan Wheldon (Indy 300).
