So there's a ton of my favourite B-Boys videos and performances missing from YouTube, what's up with that?


The '97 SNL performance of Sure Shot
The Cypress Hill performance of So Whatcha Want off the Sabotage VHS
The Alive video with original audio
The NYC rooftop performance of Ch-Check It Out (I think it was like Jimmy Fallon or something, in 2004)
The Just Blaze remix of Ch-Check It Out (with the redone vocals)


Some of them I remember having in the old DC++/Beastiehub days. Shout out to JtCann, that shit was tight.

The sure shot was from SNL back in '94. Check Dailymotion.com, they don't usually
take things down.

Original as in not the Live at Yauch's House version. How would you not know that existed??

Yeah the Letterman thing is the one I'm thinking of. And maybe it was '94, seems more likely, I don't know why I got the idea it was '97 as I know they didn't do many live appearances at that time.

I actually posted about this last year on the U68 cuts of them behind the scenes cutting up and announcing their video. I remember Mike D. saying lemon colored or something and MCA talking about his balls. OMG it was so funny. I still get depressed that I never saved IT first! Damn you you-tube. It was up for like three years and suddenly it’s taken down. PUNKS. :mad:

My opinion these clips are the Beastie's at their prime. When I show people why I like the beastie's I show them these clips. Showcases their different styles.

I have that in a box in my closet......on vhs! Right before I was about to throw out my vcr back in the back in the day I thought about transferring all that shit to DVD but was too lazy. Big mistake. Still got the MTV Beastieography on there too.

I taped the SNL 94 when it first came out. I was at a party and set it to record. The weird thing is, I got the audio for both, but my video heads fuzzed out after Sure Shot so I never got the video from Ricky's Theme/Heart Attack Man. The cool thing is, I had a nice VCR that records in stereo so I've got good audio mixes, with the cussing (that was later edited out in the re-runs).
