ELO, Genesis and Fleetwood Mac.

I'm not that guilty about them, but they're artists whose work has often been derided as being 'uncool', but bloody hell is it fantastic.

However, Yes and The Eagles are shit.

Can't Get You Out of My Head isn't a guilty pleasure.

None has to feel guilty for liking a song that good.

Really shouldn't be a guilty pleasure but most people don't respond well to 80's French pop rock.

Purely because it's Justin Timberlake....I guess to have guilty pleasures you're gonna need to be a bit of a music snob. Like i know what's cool and if i like a song by someone who is saaaay.....once upon a time the pube haired gink from nsync....it's got to be a guilty pleasure. ;)

A lot of snobbery on here.

I have to admit to having Mariah Carey on my ipod. I usually press "next" when she comes on, but some of her tunes are awesome.

Also, Lady Gaga is seriously talented. I just found this out, this weekend. Bit slow on the take up.

I have a friend who is such a music snob he ends up looking like a saddo.

Actually, I think you get more music snob cred by having a few pure pop bands that you like. For example, ABBA.

As a huge music snob, I think a short list of pop songs/bands which it's cooler to like than deny liking includes the two songs I just mentioned along with anything by ABBA and "Toxic" by Brittany Spears.

Plus you can just be like "Oh, it's produced by the Neptunes, and it was originally supposed to be used for a Michael Jackson song but he turned it down" which blows everyone away with your astounding music knowledge.

When it really comes down to it i don't really care what anyone else thinks about music that i like. I love ABBA and spent many happy days pissed as a newt dancing my little feet off to it along with the cheesiest disco tunes known to man. Also, Queen. And my current favourite tune is DJ Fresh-Louder, think it's bassline smith remix. It's awesome but also a bit commercial so i might consider it a bit of a guilty pleasure but so what if it is, it makes me happy. If i hear Weezer or Elo at a party i'll go batshit. If they're not considered cool, what do I care. When The Cuban Brothers do a cover of All Night Long, it's one of the highlights of their set. Youtube them, they're amazing!

WOW it's odd to me because The Corrs, Abba, Kylie and almost every other band listed I don't look at as gulity pleasures lol. I just love pop music.

I guess mine would be or use to be New Kids on the Block. I don't listen to them really anymore because I sorta grew out of that whole boyband thing but I did see them when they came back to the music scene in 2008. I really don't think it's cool anymore to broadcast that even though all of my other friends are still into it.
