They have been for some time, from the panoramic Paul's Boutique to the Glen E. Friedman photographs for Check Your Head to HSC2. It's so fucking artful, so above any other bullshit in hip hop. This is some Andy Warhol shit! They are the Picasso's of music. Greatness.

I visited this banner today. As I stood there taking cell-phone pics I thought to myself... there's no other band that I would take time out of my day to do this for. What's crazy is the banner is on the side of a bar owned by Ashton Kutcher called Big Wang's. It was one of the first bars in SoCal I ever drank up at.

But yeah, that fucker seems so much larger in person.

one would assume it represents them, but I recall seeing a photo (poster or shirt?) of a slew of those characters, not just the three on that LA building ad. there's more than just those. wtf does that mean? is that the committee?
