Cool, I hadn't noticed but was just watching one of their old Tibet shows where he is performing with them. So great to see the guys hooking up with him again!

Isn't that Mike D on TMR in the back? Sounds just like him.

Here's a thread jack....
So the 30 second snippet is pretty much known to have come from Amazon. Amazon and iTunes are known to offer snipets in advance of new releases.
Do you feel that the artists have any say as to what 30 second snippet is used? Often then seem to just be selected at random, and don't ever really do the songs justice. I'd be kind of pissed if I was the boys and the selection cut for make some noise...as noted...MCA puts around recycled verses and Mike D's verse is only half there, leaving what is usually a well glued mix of cohesive non sequiters to be a word jumble.
So ya, do the artists have any say in these snippets...and why don't amazon just use the first 30 seconds instead of what I believe is just some hack throwing darts at new albums.

Make Some Noise is the Fight For Your Right Filmio. It makes sense to me that they would include something reminiscent to that song so I don't think it's that bad.

I'm not saying its bad...my point is....does Amazon get to pick and choose the scoop of new music? Is it out of control of the band what little soundbits are released to the world? For all the build up and marketing for an album, does Amazon hold the first impression in their hand?
Can i get the full single soon so i can shut up!

Well my theory is that Amazon is the ones who control it as long as its just 30 seconds. Kinda like ITUNES will play a portion of a song and then to hear the entire thing you gotta pay for it.
I understand your impatience, I am too but really we're closer than ever to the release date! :)

If Biz is on 15 seconds of this album, I'll be happy, Biz showing up (to me) always makes a Beastie Boys albums just that much better. If it were up to me, he'd ALWAYS be the "special guest". I couldn't give a shit about anyone else (collabs). But I love when the B.I.Z. drops in.

He didn't show up on PB and that's their best album.

According to whom? Certainly not to Biz....
I'm just screwing around, I love Biz, and hearing the slightest inkling that he may be on this album just makes me smile. Biz is the crazy Uncle that nobody else seems to "get" but you love him anyway.
