its a good un. might as well have another thread about MSN.

For all their albums featuring vocals the opening track has always been one of the best and a real indicator of whats about to unfold. (Ima including to all the girls and shake your rump as one track really)

And MSN stands up to that legacy really. I listened to TMR today and it made much more sense now that make some noise is out. I dont think it will be too much different from the original. But yes all signs point to a very positive, funky live band sound. I think MMM will have input

makes you wonder the strength of Tadlock's Glasses, doesn't it? it was the original opener, plus they almost even went ahead and coined it the title-track. that one's guaranteed to be a slammer, i think

Make Some Noise is a perfect album opener but I'll admit I'm curious to hear Tadlock's Glasses to see how it would've originally opened it.

A whole album doing the same thing would be odd though. For better or worse, B-Boys in the Cut and Pop Your Balloon were a little different to the 'full band' sound. A little variety will be nice; that DiS reviewer talked about something sounding like Dre remixed by Karaftwerk. His track record is abysmal (the reviewer) but hopefully it goes in a few directions. I'm sure it will.

yeah i think there will be some variation. Lee majors is different but the live band feel is there.

I think about Jimmy James, Sure Shot and Super Disco breakin and how they are good representatives of their albums. I am trying to imagine the places they will go by listening to MSN and i am encouraged

drums aside, I think the tracks we've heard so far evidence a decent range of variety to expect.
