It's so beautiful seeing actual adverts for the album. I really like the album cover and the feel it has. Every time I hear Make Some Noise I see the album cover. It could be because the very first upload to youtube had the HSC2 cover so it stained in my mind cause that was my first full experience with the song, but still. This is all just too good.

1) A Cappellas of HSCP2 tracks
2) Instrumentals of HSP2 tracks
3) Tracks that were originally created for HSCP2 before HSCP1 became HSCP2
or
4) Different colored vinyl of the same tracks whatever they may be.

I know it is wishful thinking, but who knows what they meant by a less traditional release. I was especially hyped by Adam H. saying (before HSCP1 original release date was scrapped) that there were possibilities for a 7" box set.

The RSD 7" with MSN backed by passion pit remix is confirmed, but for UK only. It is part of a UK only release from Parlophone. I don't know if any copies will make it to the US, but it is limited to 500, so I doubt it.

Seriously, this is how bands should be doing business these days....

Offering very cool swag at a premium.. Most bands offer nothing extra and expect you to pay regular prices. $17+. No extras. Beasties $10 = free remix.

Up to $75 which gets you exclusives and tons of cool stuff. they are one of the VERY few bands which seems to understand what people want, and what will actually make the band a little money (depending on their contract) which I'm fine with. Cool extras, little bit more money, I'm fine with it. I love it.......

Once again, the Beastie Boys, ahead of everyone else..

i think im going to have to go for the gold here and get teh deluxe package.

love the beatsies and they, as usual, are showing everyone how its done providing a good model for how the music business can thrive by giving your audience more, not just thowing a digital track out there for more than its worth - im supporting that and hope it makes a splash (y)

And it's not really a bad deal, you wouldn't get much more with other bands especially considering their potential fan base. And they haven't gone via an exclusive deal with a major corporation so they are keeping something real.

On the other hand tho, how many of you have bought collectors additions of anything in the past and a collector has come along and wanted it? Or everyone else has already bought it. Or it's sitting pride and place on your mantle?

But they have options Paul, it covers the broke & the normal listener to the fanboy. And at a push the broke fanboy can get a decent package to. For that, there should be little complaints.

i downloaded it onto my labtop. but i dont have itunes on there. i transfer it over to an external hard drive and then from there put it on my PC that has all my itunes stuff.


it transfers onto the external harddrive and then from there onto the desktop of the PC, but then when i try to play it on the itunes it wont load on there. it just wont show up at all in the itunes.


anyone have a guess why that is?

is there a security thing that prevents people from sharing the song to other peoples computers (or other computers that you own, in this case) ?
