you know, ive been fascinated at fans' need for everyone else to like the beastie boys, as though that proves something about themselves

but i will say now its kind of nice to think that a new generation of kids might be into them too (y)

Thanks so much for this thread. I almost missed it. I was not at home during the time they were trending. So happy you made a screen shot of it!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and I totally get excited to see this generation get into the Beasties because IMO there has never been another band like them. I think people really missed out on those wonderful era's when they totally rocked it! It's a blessing they are still together though so people can see how amazing they are!

I thought I was an obsessive fan but reading this forum, watching twitter and facebook I think maybe I'm not actually that obsessed compared to some of you guys.

Also, don't read too much into trends, they change every 10 minutes. Right now #BBQ, #liespeopletell and #salford are trending. People are boring :p
