The Cheese Puff Container Fundraiser = Republican Healthcare

Don't know about you, but I see a shitload of fundraisers for families who cannot cut the cost of healthcare in my area. Cheese puff containers with slits cut out of the lids sitting on the counters of your local hardware store, posters for potlucks, anything they can do to help their sick children, minimize the cost of caring for dying parents, or pay for a burial.

Now I have absolutely nothing against people pulling together to take care of their fellow citizen - but don't you find it ironic that this is "Community Organizing" and well.....Socialism? Two facets of our society the opposition has been speaking so poorly of. Ironic and Disgusting isn't it?

This is quickly becoming the norm, get your cheese puff containers ready just in case you need a kidney removed or your child needs chemotherapy. This is the New Republican Healthcare.

Yet the economy never crossed your mind as to why you might be seeing more of those donation canisters? We can blame that on the republicans too, right? Fair enough. But, what makes you think that a Democratic system, or any non-Repub system I should say without implying what system you approve of, will deminish said containers. The community system of counter donations have been around for as long as I can remember and yea I've lived in the US most my life and didn't know if the same happened in other countries that have "universal healthcare" so after a couple quick searches I came up with this (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/story/2011/03/31/mb-donation-box-stolen-winnipeg.html) and this (http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/8457527.Charity_rocked_by_donation_box_theft/). Quickest links I could find are news links but,this just leads me to believe that the community outreach will allways be around no matter who "controls" or how "universal" healthcare gets, and it should be. As it is sad to see more people reaching to the community more I really don't see what this has to do with any "New Republican Healthcare."
