According to RollingStones' hot List, Beastie Boys at the #1 spot, they are

calling MSN their best since Intergalactic.

I'm starting to believe Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 will be their best album since Hello Nasty.

I'll say there's a 50% chance it's their best album since Hello Nasty.

As zealous as it may seem, I kinda feel like it has already proven it's the best since Hello Nasty, IMO.

shit, almost just on principle alone.

I think TT5B is a better album than HN. Or, at least, I certainly prefer it.

WHAT?!?

I don't get all the hate for TT5B??? There are some great tracks on there and it really doesn't sound like anything else made before it.

not hating at all. I just think that Mario C. was a better producer on HN than

the Beastie Boys were on TT5B. IMO TT5B is a bit over produced. and HN

jumps around a lot more, I like this.

I love TT5B but the only reason why it’s my least favorite album is because I missed a lot of the musical aspect of it. It was a bit more programmed IMO….Not enough bass or drums or guitar. I don’t hate any of their albums though. I mean TT5B produced Open Letter to New York which is on my top list of fave Beastie Boys songs.

This new album could possibly be my favorite because as a Yauch fan I think this is his best work to date. And it’s not even really the SONGS per say but his deliverance. He’s doing things with his voice that I’ve never witnessed before. I am about to have church up in here! I am too excited about it lol.

I've got a big old soft spot for TT5B and I won't get involved in revisionist history and pretend that I don't.

Notice how some journalists are taking swipes at it now?

Edit: Great video, by the way. Losel Yauch's cameo in her dad's old spot on the PB cover is a very sweet touch.

Intergalactic is far from their best song ever so this thread is pointless IMO. I love intergalactic. But I still have about 20 other Beasties tracks I like way more. New and old. Including tracks from hello nasty that seem to be under everyone's radar. And straight up. The brouhaha? You can't front on that track. Shit is tight.
