9:30 show - no promises but...

OK, so I got thru on tickets.com today and picked up 2.

My hardcore fan friend tells me he may not be able to make it due to biz travel. Therefore I may (I say may) be willing to let one go if I cannot get my other Beastie fan friend down from Boston.

To make it fun, let me and the board know just what you would give up in fair trade.

I don't need your money. Just give me a reason to pick you if indeed I give up this ticket.

I say take a friend even if they aren't some hardcore fan. even if they are just an avid fan. seriously. otherwise you'll have about 50 emails in your inbox begging. and besides, let someone who isn't aware of how great they are in on the show. they will then recognize :D

I guess no one liked my rhyme. I did have my buzz on last night when i busted it so I admit, it isn't the best but a creative way to try to get the ticket---no? Did you find someone to give it to? I like the idea of turning someone on to the show (that isn't neccessecarily a huge fan) because it would be so fresh to see them walk out of the show beaming with energy and amazement.

this is gonna be the first full length beastie boys shows in 6 years or so....all the other shows (03-04) have been either festivals or promo shows....its gonna be interesting to see how they're gonna fill 1.5-2 hours with all rap trax.......we might see a few surprises here.......a prelude to the Fall tour.....so i expect full details from the fans living in the capital........

vegas was for tv and nyav was a multi band bill......so those don't count.......no one was is gonna pay big bux in the Fall to see them do a 30 minute show....i'm assuming tonites show at the 930 is a full blown show.....if isn't tix should only be $10.......BCM will clue us in........

None taken Brad. Though it might have sounded like a sob, really I am not. It's just life ya know... speaking of which, some of that life just called and asked for more help. So here I go a running again.

I think I may be on a track to get in... seems a little shaky, and I know nothing is 100% until it happens. But if I do go, I am going to be in copper-haired pig tails because I want to feel young. And a black shirt w/some color v-neck tank w/ dark jeans and sandals.

And no no no, no sex was offered. :eek: Matter of fact, maybe I should have mentioned that in my "sob" story-- the actual no sex in my life (n) . But that is a totally other scenario... thinking the person who would be in that story might be there tonight... but I don't know. I don't speak to them anymore :(
