i just called their PR firm to try to get some info and they denied there being a show at all and claim to not even know where the rumours got started. Since it's the day of the show and it'd be silly to try to keep it under such close wraps any longer, i'm pretty sure i believe them. stay on your toes anyway, you never know.

So this is up to date real info from the horses mouth. The concert was going to happen until last night. Well...just wanted to let you guys know.....i just got home from prospect park. It was not a rumor, it was going to happen. There were some other people there who heard about it. One guy told me he heard that Mike D's wife Tamra Davis was having a baby but i dont know how true that is. I heard it was postponed and not cancelled. If i hear ANYTHING, i will post it A.S.A.P I only live a 1/2 hour away so I took the shot of going knowing that it might have been cancelled, but i would rather go there and have it be cancelled, then not have gone and it really went on.

my crew and i were there from four till sundown chillin in the grass waitin' for the rumor to come true...but ah it never did...
not too much of a buzz kill, we estimated a 50/50 chance that they would show... but the most interesting souvenier ?? of the evening were the reasons why they were coming...

The true story was that somebody (Tamra probably) had a baby and the gig got cancelled. No word yet on a reschedule or any other 5 Boroughs gigs.
