MCA is more talented than I thought..

He's pretty much always been my favortie Beastie, but that status was recently solidified when I noticed that, most of the time, when he's performing live, he's chewing gum as well! I noticed this from their recent appearances on Letterman and MTV, but I havent been able to catch the $2 Bill Las Vegas show. I see it in older performances too, from Hello Nasty era and Ill Communication era. Has anyone else noticed this? It's amazing that he can rap and chew gum at the same time!! I wonder what his brand is?

little known fact.. mca doesn't really rap. he sticks a little alien piece of gum in his mouth and it does all the work :D

I had a single back in the day from Pauls Boutique. I wish I still had it. There was one song, and it was just MCA throughin rhymes down. No music, no clapping just him. It was the bomb!

Anyone know what I am refering to, and if so whether it's still available?
It may have been on the Hey Ladies single but not sure anymore

The chewing gum thing is real noticable in the "So Whacha Want" Video.
And I've noticed it before in the live version of "Shad Rac" on the "Skills to Pay the Bills" video.

That Letterman performance was the SHITE! I wanna know who's idea it was to come out of the subway.

i love it when he chews gum. so hot. i noticed it alot in the so watcha want video as well, uh, especially when his face is smushed into the camera lens. i'd like to see the day when he lays it down so fast that the gum shoots out of his mouth and lands on the head of the microphone. he always holds his microphone the same way as well. they all have different ways of holding it, which for some odd reason i found interesting. i have no life. mca holds it entirely by the head of the mic, adrock sorta tilts it up most of the time and weaves it between his fingers, and mike d holds it like a normal person. hmmm...i do need a life. hold on while i get one.
