We couldn't believe it (MSG sound didn't mess it up THANK GOD)-- extremely well done. Untouchable and one of the most outstanding shows I've seen in my lifetime. The set list and structure was perfection and the three of them each playing on a drumset (simultaneously) for that solo was "priceless"- eat your F*&^g heart out Citibank!Unbelievable. I hope to see more...

For some reason i thought they did this during one of the CYH tours in 1992. I think the second time around when they toured with Henry Rollins.

Can anyone confirm?

No need to take it out, just didn't get it.

And no they did the 3 drum solo during the 94 tour, have it on tape from Nassau Coliseum same year

Excuse me VC...? I was under the impression that we could speak freely about a tour yet to start and thought free to write about any living show from years gone past seamlessly and without a timeline? Guess that was wrong...Beastie Boys Live means we reconvene on the 5 Boroughs Tour? That only. Thanks.

I was at that show. Its was only my 2nd time seeing the boys. It was life changing. I'm still looking for a recording of that show.

Shot by Ricky Powell? Where did you hear that?

I will re-watch the show; I am 95% certain it (the 3 beastie drum solo)was done at this show.

The show you are referring to does it have the date in the lower right hand corner for the first half of the concert?

Nassau was recorded by 2 different cameras in the audience.

The Rickster only filmed part of the show....up front.

Ok we're all on the same page... and looking forward to this tour! How long do we have to wait - ____ when...? october for NYC?

My personal little fantasy... (this is from my home BB department [no exceptions] Am I spelling right?- don't get crazy it's only a dream ok?) ...would be for them to compile footage from past shows (3 drum S0L0 shows - let's pick one fav from tour/why NOT just call that part of video MSG?) My fantasy includes behind the scenes from various videos and some of the STUDIO SESSIONS. yay or nay?

Have a good weekend! :)

The one i have is from the Nassau Coliseum...not Madison Square Garden. It was shot by Ricky Powell. There is no date on the screen, but there is the "time" remaining on his battery pack. I has backstage footage and some of The Roots.

Mike asks Ricky to check the score of the Knicks game while onstage.

Would you be willing to share that someday?... Can we work out a viewing...
