all white people are mistaken for one of the beastie boys at one point in their lives.
i'm pretty sure that white bastard mailman of mine is MCA.
Mike D. has a new show coming out on fox where he plays an over protective father and shenanigans ensue.

I have, at various times, stopped cold in my tracks thinking that I was
seeing one of the Beasties. Never all three. Just one here or there. It
happened just about a week ago and I had to look hard to be sure
that it wasn't one of them.
I've never stopped anyone and probably wouldn't even if I were to
chance across one of them. I'd just look for a little while.

I don't think I'll ever happen upon the Beasties. Something tells me that Georgia, esp my section of it, is not in their travel plans.

in 1984, (breakin was a way a life....i sported a japaneese stlye bandana) at Oak Street beach i signed an autopraph on some lady's beach towel with a MAGNUM 45 marker. She gave me a smooch too.
She thought i was Ralph Macchio (the Karate Kid). :o

I feel like an idiot posting this, but here you go....
I live in NYC and have seen them around. I've seen Yauch the most. I've seen him skating downtown, as well as at both Fugazi and Luscious Jackson shows. I've seen Adrock at the Lemon Tree down around 12th street. Saw Mike D once, can't remeber where. Got to hang with Hurricane and Bobo at Irving Plaza once when they were hosting Soul Kitchen there.

I've never met or seen anyone who resembles the Beasties. I've never been mistaken for anyone famous...
...but i have been mistaken for this woman's daughter. I was at a restaurant and she sat down telling me about people I didn't know....10 minutes later she asked my name cause I was looking at her weird and then she laughed.....I just sort of stood their wondering where my mom was at the time.

That strikes me funny because it was my mom's hair salon in Minneapolis decades ago. So I can kind of picture him hanging out by those big old hair dryer things while the ladies are getting their updos.
