dude, i am mad new too comp programs, maybe a year or so after 6 years of hardware equip
i used to use fruity loops it's easy to use
but recently i been using adobe audition 1.5 which is cool edit and it's much better, i used it to make 2 remix tracks on here which took me about an hour total. I'm definitely impatient but it's also that easy to use...i added cuts which took the most time,...i'm just saying u can whip up remixes real quick

Here is the stuff I've been messing with as of late:

Acid Music Studio 5.0
FL studio 3 & Up
Various electro samples

thats basically what I use, its very easy.... although i want FL studio...ill hook myself up with a download soon i guess.....first... i fryed my keyboard through spilling coke... so i need that first.

What's the difference in Acid 5.0? I have 4.0. I'm just curious if it's worth the upgrade or not.

Acid Pro 5.0 is better with Midi (though still not great). It also has a number of layout/organise improvements such as track folders etc.

It's also improved on many aspects of it's audio such as reversing of samples etc.

I would recommend it. You can hear two remixes here on these boards by me, both of which use Acid Pro 5.0 with samples and softsynths. The one thing I will say is that it can crash too often for most peoples liking. I've learnt to save my projects A LOT!

I use also use z3ta+ / albino 2 / Sampletank XL and about 100 gig of samples on an Emulator X Studio.

Hope this helps.

Peace.

I think it is worth the upgrade if you have any loops that are in MP3 format. You don't need to buy anything extra to open those. It's part of the standard package. There are most likely more changes, but I have not figured them out yet. I just got it a couple of weeks ago.
