Republic of Exit??

Has anybody posted about this?

It was in july or august this year, can't tell for sure. So, i turned on the tv and on the Croatian RTL channel there was something about this music festival named "Republic of Exit". I think they said the festival was in Serbia and Montenegro. It was like an open air music festival with several stages, and there were a lot of famous artists. Can't recall who they were, but I remembered that DJ Fatboy slim was there.
And the reporter said how that is a big event with a lot of great music and musicians,bla bla, BUT there were some artists who didn't want to come, like the Beastie Boys
Does anybody have more information about this? :confused:

once the beastie boys decide to take a break they truly take a break. 2 of them have wife and kids, they cant just do every show that requests them.

i've heard yauch say making the album takes a year, touring for the album takes a year then they take a vacation for a year. .

Yeah, in Febuary, the 1 year vacation will be done (y) But then they'll chill for a while prob im not gonna expect them to work on a new album straight away. Its all good im not too fussed.

Thanks, well they deserve to take a rest after making such great albums :)
I just thought maybe something was going on, they played somewhere else or something.
