A small explanation of the piece...
Done exclusively with a tracker program. This was done before hearing the original track, (I still haven't heard it!!!) but since I like the lyrics so much, my arse is going out tomorrow to buy the CD (!)

Anyway, thanks Beastie Boys for allowing the music community to experiment with your work. It's an honor, and this project has made me rediscover your music.

A re-born fan!

Mod Trackers, they're old-skool programs for composing digital music, around since about 1992. They're kinda like sample sequencers, but on an extreme level. The original was invented for the Amiga computer, 4 mono tracks. Today, you can do 256 stereo tracks without a problem and score amazing music. :) Unless you know music theory, and are able to count in hexidecimal, it can be quite hard to grasp. I also use trackers exclusivley to write and produce original music. Trackers eliminate the need for MIDI, DJ's, and heck, even recording studios. :) Obviously, not a perfect professional recording as you can here on my remix, but pretty damn close.
