that's a great remix, but i have to say it's not your best. I miss some hard drums. however I dig the melody and how it fits with the voice

Thanks much for the feedback. My biggest complaint about it is some of the levels...like the high-hat for example is too loud...I think some of the other percussion could come up a bit too...not too much cause its not exactly meant to be "hard" but it sounds different on the shitty headphones I'm mastering on than it does in the car or on my home stereo. Anyway, thanks again for the feedback and criticism...always appreciated! :)

yeah that's happens to me a lot of times. I'm making some beats on computer and they sound very fat with my headphones, but when I listen them with the pc speaker they sound really really poor...

I re-mixed and re-mastered bringing the high-hat and vocals down a bit and the snare up slightly. There's still no "hard drums" so your main criticism still stands, but it's a little closer to what I was going for.

EDIT: and yes, I'm all signed up for the contest. I'm looking forward to a lot of great mixes coming out of this competition!
