I remember right before the Beasties left DefJam I read in our local Morning Call paper that there was a new CD going to be released. It had a list of the songs and one of them was Desperatto that was in that Tougher Then Leather movie. I think there were like 8 songs. Anyone know whatever happened to those tracks? It'd be a real shame for them to go unheard, I know they had to have that Licenced to Ill vibe that I love so much.

you were probably thinking of "THE WHITE HOUSE". It was an album that DEF JAM was going to release in retaliation of the beasties leaving def jam and signing with capital. CHUCK D of PUBLIC ENEMY was to produce it. it was going to consist remixes of some LTI tracks along with other "unrealeased" songs.

Wait..... Whats the real name? White Castle or White House?

funny part of the story is that when Chuck D saw me, he thought I was going to ask him about PUBLIC ENEMY. I shocked him when I started asking him about the beastie boys!

what exactly did he say, if you can remember. I always though it was R. Simmons getting his last word in.

Yeah, but the Beasties and the Beatles are relatives. Check here http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=57662

I tried searching on the hub for that unreleased album.

Are you sure it is there so I don't try endlessly for no reason?
