So any word on sideshows? In Perth?

Please post any info that you know (promise I won't tell) I'm crackin my neck to see beasties again but I really don't wanna go to "good" vibrations.

Did anyone see the bboys in Newcastle back in 97 or 98 or whatever year that was "The Intergalactic Tour"? Anyhoo the played at ?this? pub, (again with the meMOry thing) they played as "QUASAR" which was a different incarnation, not BEASTIE BOYS, more of a punkrock band thing MO MO MO

We might see QUASAR again or some other MOnkey-er, alias, pseudonym, or cognomen

My ear is to the ground

I hope Nathaniel I had all the ideas for fuckin star wrars Hornblower & His Lonely Hearts Club Tuba Band will play some sideshows, would be good MO MO MO

And please share infoMO

And be good to your MOther

you know, i really doubt it. no sideshows when they did the BDO. there's only one venue that could have them anyway (metros) and imo seeing them at belvoie will be so much nicer than seeing them at metros.

Yes, Belvoive good, Metro's not one of my favorites. But I'd brave the farce if I knew it was gunna be filled with wholesome beastie energy, anyMO I'm still hopeful.

Still think the best chance is if they appear as someone else not the BBOYS. I Know a guy with a drum and I've got seisMOgraph.

Hi there,

I would kindly like to request if the Beastie Boys could come to Singapore after they finish performing at the Good Vibrations Festival in Australia. It will be dream come true for many true hip-hop fans here in Singapore. Your honesty and energy in your music is a real inspiration for us. Please do think about it. Thanks. :)

yauch just talked about why they've moved off the tibet shit/political shit and focusing on making music. he talked about the increase in downloading; he reckons it's making musicians get back to basics and making music because they wanna make it. ummm... there wasn't a huge amount of interview stuff.

majority of it was the journalist sucking their dicks; pioneers of this and that, they've been around since this and that, they've left a mark on music history that no other white rap group could ever emulate etc etc.

the journo also said yauch made an "art out of whinging" - thought that was interesting... could be true, i guess.

Australian journalists always seem to add those little jabs, after the interview. You're right, in a way it could be true.

That's cool he was talking about making music. (y)

Look out in street press adds for venues thats how I found out last time they did that here, they normally hint at who it would be.

I remember they also had something written on the roof of a venue in newcastle saying something along the lines of "the sabotage boys are back in town"
