Dear users, I'd like to know what do you think about the instrumental songs of the beasties. Because I always see that there aren't many discussions and comments about tracks as Sabrosa, Son of Neckbone or, most of all, Futterman's rule, that the beasties, if I don't wrong, never played live. Why? I love these songs, expecially this version of sabrosa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILRJb5KJ8hY

they have played futterman's rule a couple of times back in the 95 tour. Actually on the hub there is the 1995/03/04 london show with a live version of Futterman's rule, I don't know if it was a poor recording or the beasties doing a hack job, but it didn't sound to good. Futterman's rule is one of my favorites.

They have also played son of neckbone a few times live back in 95.

judging by the setlists, they had some really good shows back in 95

Haha I commented on that. Yeah I love all their instrumentals. Futterman's Rule = Eargasm, they should really play that live. And it's really exciting knowing their new album's gonna have instruments eeeeh!!!

Yeah, Futterman's Rule is my favourite. Son of Neckbone turned up in 98-99 a lot. I like that one, too. But I prefer something a little dirtier sounding.

I would love if the Beastie Boys did another all-instrumental album!

I've seen in the studio cam that they often play their instruments. So, I hope in an album similar to ill communication for this fact. Miramanee, so do I!
