The Skate 3 demo comes out next Thursday the 15th at about 8:00PM EST so hopefully Lee Majors Come Again is on there. Most people haven't heard the song yet so hundreds of thousands will soon! Interested to find out if it's the same version we know or if it's changed at all. It's def gonna blow up.
Also, if it's like Skate 1 or 2 there is a good chance there will be Beastie Boys T-Shirts to wear in there as well. Maybe even the band as unlockable characters.

Everybody knows this, but it's really for jayjay's benefit so he might check out another band - Amery Smith (AWOL) played drums on Suicidal's first album.

It's interesting timing; the aborted marketing cycle last time around involved HSC songs in video games. I wonder if Lee Majors was always meant to be on Skate 3 or if this is a new move based on the new marketing push. Yes, I know marketing is a shit term, but that's what it is. It helps that Yauch is a gamer, though (from what I recall).

It turns out the song is on the demo for Skate3. I have no means to rip the audio from the song, but it would be easy for someone to do. You just need to pause the game and go into audio settings and there is a *perfect* quality Lee Majors. It sounds incredible (!)(!)

Just listened to it on there and it sounds a lot better. Unfortunately when I rip stuff it sounds like crap, but hopefully someone does it for the rest of us soon. And a high quality version of Pop Your Balloon would be nice while you are at it (y)

I dont have Skate 3 (have played the first t2 though) but if I did I wouldnt know where to start with ripping music from a game!:confused:

As a fan of skate, I bought this and went straight for the music player. And I can say that this song finally has some balls. I can't say if it's remixed, or if it was just super lo-fi in its ripped state, but the drums are bigger and the guitar is more up-front, and it just generally sounds a shit ton better. Although it was already one of my favourite songs out of them in the last 15 years. If you didn't like Lee Majors Come Again (and I'd have to question that, ultimately) then this probably won't change your mind.

This is the best I could do. I don't know why it sounds kinda shitty like this though. I ripped it directly to the computer straight from the red and white to the input jack.

I think it's because the red and white are analog only, and the game is digital audio. if your computer has digital audio inputs i think it would be 100% better. I'm dl'ing now.. thanks!

... also did you change your ps3/360 to stereo from dolby digital first? that might make a difference too

It was originally on Dolby Digital, but it sounded like shit when I recorded it. It was extremely loud and noisy but the vocals were still low just like on this version.

Woah, the quality of your rip is kinda sucky, but we can definitely feel the mix. The drum and bass are hitting way harder, this is amazing on top of an already amazing cut. I'm totally hyped for the HSC sound now :D
