Carvel ice cream cake.
Me too. We don't have Carvel anywhere near where I live, but the first time I got near one, I bought a cake just to say I had it.
Bummer I did not have a freezer to put it in at the time.

Bummer......I bet that was messy. I like them ok but that weird clear toothpaste-like layer between the ice cream and chocolate crumbs I could do without....I mean what is that stuff, anyway?

When Yauch's pesto recipe was published in Grand Royal I decided I was going to make it (I was 19ish at the time and hardly ever made anything but sandwiches). So without really looking at the ingredients I bought a jar of pesto sauce, assuming that would be ingredient #1 and my parents would probably have whatever else went in it. In short, I was a dumbass.

I drove to a White Castle (an hour away) listening to Licensed to Ill on cassette - cassette! - the entire way and counted how many times the BB said "White Castle." I think it was nine.

gotta say, the only reason i've ever had white castle was because of the beastie boys.. i don't think the beastie boys could possibly like that shit
its truly terrible "food"
even the fries that come in one size tasted old.

Once at a festival in Norway (Beastie Boys were playing) I had to buy a packet of crisps as it said Finger lickin' good on it. I think I still have it somewhere... Also on the same tour I wasn't intercontinental to eat French Toast, but some Belgian waffles and I made my first (and only) rhyme with that after the gig in Belgium...
