I'll go on record as saying I'm not missing either track from this thing. I'll be glad to have them as bonus traxx, no doubt, but I think the sequence of pt 2 is just spot on. Great flow to the album. Not sure I would've said the same about the pt1 tracklist. Probably why they switched it up!!!!
I can't be bothered to search for the review of the pt1, but anybody remember what "Bundt Cake" is/was? A skit? Wonder what happened to it.
Any opinions on the old TL?

I definitely couldn't see it opening with Tadlock's Glasses or ending with Here's A Little Something For Ya, they're somewhat odd tracks to bookend the album with.

I'm gonna put BBITC before The Larry Routine and then fit PYB before crazy ass shit for my itunes organization of the album.

11. Bundt Cake
Another skit, this time a mere 21 seconds over a crisp drum break with snatches of cyber vocals. (http://drownedinsound.com/in_depth/4137233-first-listen--beastie-boys-hot-sauce-committee-pt-1)

The Larry Routine makes way more sense to me in the new version of the album. I hated it as part of BBitC.

Also seems to have been a change to Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament according to that (rather lousy) review/description.
"14. Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament
For such politically active musicians it always seems frustrating that the Beastie Boys have rarely strayed into global social issues on record; nothing really changes here, beyond the title, although the vocals are once again a touch buried to be sure, something close to liquid g-funk and disconnected phased-up beats three-quarters of the way to an Usher hit obliterated by robot voice effects of prime ‘Intergalactic’ intent. This is either Kraftwerk scored by Dr Dre or our headphones are a bit shonky."
I love what it is now, but I would love to hear the original version someday. Perhaps as a bside or sumthin...

I'd be willing to bet it's the same as before (sans the alternate mixdown from Zdar). if you read the rest of the song descriptions from that same review you'll find that the deaf guy that wrote it had a tendency to completely misrepresent almost every song on the record. (n)

i know what you mean mcduff, and i agree...but vocals being present or not is a mighty impressive fuck up.
i kinda wish i could hear the album as it was, though i like what i've heard in regards to the update.
i just think that at one point they obviously really believed in the original set up. make some noise being the first single makes sense - as it would have done then - but opening the record? it seems like the easy option. tadlocks...what i fucking inspired and unorthodox way to kick off a record that would have been. the flow into b-boys in the cut...laid back as fuck. i'd have loved it.
that said, i have no complaints. the album sounds solid, and i'm not missing anything i wouldn't have heard before.

I hear some lyrics in the mix. His Usher by the way of Intergalactic is a little loose but see what he was going for. maybe. Yeah listening too it ow. def has lyrics in it. 2nd half of the song.
PYB AND BBITC are the two bonus tracks on part 2.
