Here's a Little Somethin' For Ya
Crazy Ass Shit
Long Burn The Fire

Adrock's verse on Long Burn reminds me of his Prof. Booty verse.

I have no clue what they might choose for a second single except for maybe TMR again.

People have been slack and flocked to Say It, but I think Long Burn The Fire is swagged the fuck out. It's an album full of album cuts, don't care about singles.

I would guess that Don't Play no Game has to be a single.

Yeah I feel that way too, but I just like singles because some of them are released pre-album release and they get their own artwork and vinyl/CD and I just love that for some reason.

After much trial and error I finally found a real ok full length version to put on my iPod to listen to in car that will hold me over until my copies arrive, I need to listen a few more times before declaring favs but I will say this...this album in it's entirety really works, every song is good, sequencing brilliant, sounds both new and vintage, rhymes are best I've heard in awhile, most importantly it sounds fun and extremely confident as it should.

I agree with what I read someone else say, if this is it it's perfect.

Update: bonus the version out there is clean so I can listen with kids, I think I'll keep after my copies arrive as my kid-friendly play, plus it sounds very good. It's 320 but sometimes u just don't know, but it sounds as good as singles I got from Amazon and iTunes. Still no favorite yet, album flows real nice though...TMR new version very good, Say It not as good as first listen still very good but not best on record for sure. Nonstop is freakin just sweet, OK and Funky Donkey are fun, kids love both!

'Don't Play No Game...' is the obvious single to my ears. For a multitude of reasons.

It really depends on how much control Capitol offers the bboys when it comes to choosing singles. The label would most def pick DPNGTICW (maybe Here's A Little Something For Ya). The only way I could see it being anything else would be if the boys have the kinda clout in their deal to pick their own.

I can't see 'Say It' being promoted as single in a million years. Heavyweight album cut, but no single.

thats my 2 cents at least.

Here's a little something for ya sounds the most 'single-ish' to me.

I honestly thought I could pull this off but now I am not so sure. Listening to Make Some Noise again I've really come to love it more and the Passion pit remix a little less because it just doesn't have the Beastie factor. It's good they did do it different for perhaps other people who like that sorta club sound.

With that said this is my attentive favorite five list and could change at ANY MOMENT!

Tadlocks
Long Burn The Fire
Say It
Make Some Noise
OK

I need the album in my hands but I can say without a doubt that Tadlocks and Long Burn are it for me.

Ok four listens all the way through in real time driving situations w/kids sometimes, wife sometimes, alone other times errands and whatnot on a semi-normal persons first day back in town from a 5 day vacation.

"Make Some Noise" – a crowd fav in the car, but maybe because I've played this 100 times since released so it's familiar....but it grooves.
"Nonstop Disco Powerpack" – Pretty good, has a real old school feel. Not a Raising Hell 86 old school but a little older.
"OK" – Fun, easy to like, def sounds like BS2000 but all I keep thinking is fun.
"Too Many Rappers" [New Reactionaries Version] (featuring Nas) – Very good, better than original, sounds very good, bass booms, new lyrics by MCA are great. I like this a lot.
"Say It" – I like it, but I don't like it as much as the first listen, but I like it, just not as much as when I heard the first time in the airport yesterday.
"The Bill Harper Collection" – Pretty cool skit I guess, random.
"Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win" (featuring Santigold) – Ehhhh, wife likes this one a lot, it's not bad but it's not one of the better for me, but in real time driving around it works with a family in the car.
"Long Burn the Fire" – Freakin awesome, might be best track on album, I rocked this one alone very loud and this song keeps getting better.
"Funky Donkey" – I like this one a lot, again fun but better than ok.
"The Larry Routine" – Ehhhh, not one of the better routines I've heard them do over the years over breaks, better on it's own.
"Tadlock's Glasses" – Freakin badass, too short but badass nonetheless.
"Lee Majors Come Again" – Finally to hear in all it's sonic glory, too bad I've listened to it a 1000 times already.
"Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament" – Very nice, great track.
"Here's a Little Somethin' for Ya" – Better Better Better than either OG, this version is very good, one of better on album
"Crazy Ass Shit" – Nope, sorry but this is the weakest cut on the album, not feeling this song at all.....thank god LL finishes the record.
"The Lisa Lisa/Full Force Routine" – Damn why so short, love this whatever it is, trade-off rhymes, nice beat, way way too short though.....too bad because this is nice.

Anyway this is just on four times driving around in various situations, overall great album, can't rank yet overall but it's a lot of what I've been wanting.

I got Cosmo's mp3 rip from the livestream and it's listenable but really bassed out when played off my ipod in the car...

(!) I listened to the free stream a few times this morning and thought it sounded boring and directionless.

 But I couldn't help but listen again and THEN IT HIT ME -- I'M THE ONE WHO HAD BECOME BORING AND DIRECTIONLESS!

(y) A LOT OF THE MUSIC ON HSCP2 IS TRUE BEASTIE-BOYS BRILLIANT!

:D It apparently went way over my head the first few listens. I cannot wait to open the fresh CD case and pop the disc into the car stereo.

(!) I now have direction and find life interesting again.

Lot's of google'ing and trial and error download misdirection BS and tom foolery...

This is not the live rip because I think that had the bad words didn't it? Not sure where it came from but it sounds very good, just got home from baseball game and we listened again entire ride to and from, and whoever leaked this one did a good job on the rip. I don't want to post even though I'm sure all of you will or have already bought, still probably not cool. I will say this, all the files had to be renamed and it was packed nicely in a .rar file. But unzip and if you see something like phizen 1, phizen 2, etc. with a picture of the album cover then you have found the same version I did.

I've only listened to this once and I'm trying to hold off hearing it again until a better quality version is available but Nonstop Disco Powerpack was definitely the one that stood out for me, old school mic-trading goodness.

I've also got to admit that Funky Donkey was awesome in its pure silliness. They know it's a goofy track so they just go all out with it and it's hilarious.

I'm surprised LMCA wasn't made a single. It's really an awesome and different track and I think the norms could get excited about it.
