I think the Biz will probably have been recording for what would have been part 2, but now will be either part 3 or back to part 1 maybe... Same goes for the Bob Dylan sampled track. I think Yauch called this album the 'weird shit' HSC2 is pretty out there, I expect true insanity on the next one!
I think Mike D said this is when they were planning on putting the original part 2 out, year and a half after part 1, hopefully now plans changed it'll be out earlier maybe...
All in all, this whole project and BBoys era is very special indeed! Hi-5'd fellas, good to have you all back.

I don't remember which track it's on but there's a part on the album where MCA says "the pump don't work cuz the vandals took the handles" and I wonder if there's where the Bob Dylan sample was supposed to go.

there was an audio clip of Zimmerman introducing No Sleep til Brooklyn on his radio show... the band had talked about using it in the past but there is more than one lyrical reference to Dylan's music in at least two places in the new album...

You're out of your mind.... I supposed Hurricane was better?
And as far as him NOT being on the new CD, who does the cuts then? and why would they NOT have him on the CD?

Didn't MMM himself confirm he didn't do any work on HSCpt.2? It was in a recent interview. I don't have the link, but its somewhere on the board.

there was a good mention of the adams' scratching styles from some interview somewhere at some time (would be a miracle if I could remember) that mentions that MCA's technique is very Terminator style, while Adrock's is something different, I forget. Wish I could remember that right now.

Before they brought Mixmaster Mike on for Hello Nasty, MCA and Adrock did scratches on Check Your Head and Ill Communication (I believe Rick Ruben did the cuts on License to Ill and the Dust Bros. did the cuts on Paul's Boutique).
Hurra was never on the albums, he was just a touring DJ. It may be that they'll continue to use Mike for tours but do the albums themselves.
Also, Mike never did all of the scratches. He did a handfull of tracks on Hello Nasty and a handfull on Too the 5 Burroughs. You can usually tell when its him because of the complexity.
