We watched a bit at work! Hihihi. It's stupid, but kinda cute. They're cute. Funny thing I heard on Tv is that only 13 per cent of British ( I can't remember if the reporter ssid British) is against Monarchy. I thought it was like 50 per cent.

13% of those who could be bothered to stop and fill in a survey about the monarchy.

To most people, if someone came up to you and said "can I ask you about the monarchy" most would just say "no" - those won't of been counted. Those that could be bothered to stop will probably be the majority for it, the 13% will of just been too polite to not to tell a random stranger interrupting their day where to go.

It really has got boring. I've unfollowed a few people* on twitter who keep talking about it - like, they keep saying they don't give two shits but can't stop going on about that fact.

*Celeb and random interesting feeds type personalities I mean, not friends.

an outdated bbc poll from '07 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7162649.stm) found that 19% of brits are opposed to it. that's not a bad number, but i wouldn't be surprised if that's higher now.

i'm opposed as well to the notion of an antiquated neo-colonial institution living large off the tax payer dime. all of this over the top news coverage is rather sickening, especially when a lot of news casts are making it their top priority.
