Nice blends, the o.g pre-Zdar mix of Make Some Noise sounded interesting. Definitely prefer the finished product.
EDIT: I mean the musical elements. There is obviously a lot of 'mixtape' noise going on too.

The beginning of the second verse where the synth goes ultimate isn't there. Unless that's just because of his mashup but either way the mix sounds weird in comparison to the current version.
No Yauch solo part to start the chorus either.

It's good, but not great. I've heard better BBoys mixes.

I much prefer this to the Green Lantern mix.

Has Mix Master Mike ever put out a Beastie mix?
Micodin

Nada, but he's mixed a bunch of B-Boys & BS2000 in his mixes.
But, I say it's time for MMM to do a proper B-Boy mix.

Yeah I donno, a lot of his mixes already have a lot of samples that either feature the beastie boys themselves or songs they have sampled or use in their live shows so at least in my mind, in a way all his mixes are kinda beastie mixes. Even quite a few of his early mixes before he joined the beasties, kinda during his mixtape days featured a lot of BB references.

I was digging it up until that Linkin Park-sounding bullshit voice joined Sabotage. Blech.

Finally had a chance to listen this morning on way to work and I just want to say this mix is awesome, everything I would expect from the professional DJ extraordinaire Z-Trip. Lots of bass, rock, scratches and a nice mix from their catalog. If you think you've heard better please post links or something because I don't think I have, but maybe I'm missing something.
Good job and glad to have this, well worth the wait, not too long and not too short....but 23 minutes of fantasticness.
His design followed to the “T” according the Beastie Guide to Creative Design (http://thinkvitamin.com/design/the-beastie-boys-guide-to-more-creative-designs/)…
Well DONE sir.

Z-Trip had the Lee Majors acapella for the mix. Wonder how this will sound not over hardcore.

I was going to ask about that. I personally like the version of MSN that is in this mix over the finished album version. How did this dude get a pre-mix? If the bBoy do an a cappella album of HSC2, I hope they pre-distort the vocals.. Would be nice to hear remixes without the voices all space-aged and shit..
It's good, but not great. I've heard better BBoys mixes.
I'd be curious to hear these better mixes. I think dude came sick with this mix. He mixes elements of all of their musical styles (minus Country Mike) and throws them all in the same mix. Again, post better mixes.. I'm all ears...
..and speaking of the Z-Trip Megamix; I put the whole CD (+2) plus a broken into 15 track Z-Trip mix onto a CD (making it 33 tracks) and I gotta say, the whole thing sounds kinda NOOOOICE in my car...

Minty Fresh's DoubleCheckYourHead is pretty great.
Minty Fresh's DoubleCheckYourHead is pretty great.
That's 6 different mash-ups + a remix of TMR. Dope indeed.. but someone point me to a 22 minute mega-mix that is as dope as this that includes 5 different genres of music mixed together....

I think MMM had one for the Solid Gold Hits album. It was only a 5 min mix if I remember.
This Z-Trip mix is noice, but should be longer and not the best outro.

I'm going out on a limb here and gonna say that I enjoyed the entire mix and thought the ending was quite nice.
(But, I've only listened to the mix once)
