My son and I did not make our annual record store day journey this year because there were no Beastie vinyls available to US retailers, so I decided to yank him out of school Tuesday and ROAD TRIP!

The closest store is about 120 miles away, I tried to contact the retailer, but they are closed on Sunday. If they are different I'll get you one.

Yeah... I called up the local indie record store that I used to work at and they told me the list of things...

1. HSC2 won't be available on vinyl till next month.

2. No free promotional shit.

3. The only free promotional shit this week was for Fleet Foxes.

4. No 7" Lee Majors.

Sigh.

probably its too late now but try Great Escape, mostly used stuff at that one, plus some punk rock 7inches and lots of old toys. it seems to have just moved to a new location.

i got two lee majors but i had to buy two albums. my girlfriend bought one, technically.

im in knoxville so were an hour later than nashville. i went to a place called disc exchange, they had three total.

there were a couple old guys waiting; one to buy the new fleet foxes and one to sell an apocalypse now dvd.
