Holy shit looks like the BBoys are totally blitzing the internet... now Aretha Franklin's Facebook is posting links to a page with a review of her album but, more importantly HSC2- the headline starts with Beastie Boys and the picture that accompanies it is the album cover. Crazy shit!

Agreed. That review was garbage. It always makes me laugh when the "experts" constantly refer to their 1980's days. It's already the 2010's. They did a lot since then.

I think it's funny how she acts like Hip Hop is going in an awesome new direction with innovation and creativity and the Beastie Boys are just living in the past doing the "same old shit from the 80s". Some people are just so ignorant and stupid. Someone can be good at math and have no clue or understanding of what's around them.
Why should the Beastie Boys use synthesized snare rolls and pop/club beats when they obviously don't think it sounds good? In fact shouldn't music simply sound how the creator sees it and creates it. It shouldn't have to sound like "this" or "that". It shouldn't have to be anything. They do what they want and the majority of people who talk shit are the type to go and say "On My Level" is an awesome song.
