So Rae from Wu-Tang is releasing a song about bin Laden... it includes the line "A war hero legend for the Muslims, 'by any means', reminds me of Farrakhan, Malcolm and King".

Controversial? This (http://www.zshare.net/audio/897037888e3a417a/) is just a snippet, maybe the full version will be a "rise and fall" story type thing... that's my guess anyway. An all out supportive track would fuck Rae's career up in a lot of circles.

I'm interested to hear the whole thing. Rae is on point with the storytelling and the beat is nice too.

Well, he is muslim and it's not like he hasn't been rapping about thugs his whole life. Natural progression.

Osama reminds him of King?

Any self respecting minority would denounce that statement.

Just like most "thug" rappers - lives in a fantasy world while his fans die in the real world.

I've paid for raes albums and support him as an artist but if that song doesn't take a turn after those lyrics to something more sensible he's never getting anymore money from me.

For real tho for rae to support someone who if allowed would have ruined the US economy...one that he predominantly depends on for his income, is retarded beyond comprehension.

Just bc your a muslim doesn't mean you support a mass murdering terrorist. Just like because I'm a white american I don't support the grand wizard of the KKK. Comparing king to bin laden is offensive as fuck to the great dr.

i'm not clear on what a war hero legend for muslims has to do with a christian pacifist

I think all the coke he's done has really affected him.
I wonder if there's any chance he'll pull the song. I'm sure he'll realize how stupid it is.

I wouldn't have thought the Five Percent Nation would be down with Wahabbism. Seems very out of alignment. I bet Chef doesn't follow through with it.

^ LOL @ this bitch catching feelings. :D

Have y'all forgotten this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA_xXWSXyFI)? Rae's not doing anything new, it's just interesting to see how far he goes in regard to pro-bin Laden sentiments. I know he's not dumb and the song will have an anti-terrorist message overall. Dude is doing tracks with the Bieber these days, he aint going in on no PLO Style terrorist steez anymore. The Chef's dough aint thick enough for that.

Suck a dick, Padster. I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time. Perfect your gift.

Bin Laden's was an unprovoked terrorist attack. Bush was a complete moron and I never supported any military campaign of his, other than the hunt for Bin Laden. The celebrations made me uneasy, for sure, but I don't know if I can blame anybody for it.

Still no comparison.

no - you can't blame osama for Iraq

bin laden and saddam were not allies, friends, nor connected in any way. The Iraq invasion was perpetuated by bush and his administration, long standing cabinet heads for the republicans up until this last election with decades worth of history with Iraq.

Blaming bin laden absolves any wrongdoing by bushes administration - even if they will never be held responsible by our country or the world.

it's a shame
