FREE screening of FFYRR at Egyptian theater with Boys in attendance!

How the hell did I not see this talked about on the boards at all, OR see the email in my inbox! FML. They were here, and I could have seen the thing on the big screen for free and probably met all three of them GODDAMN!

This happened 5/2/2011 at the Egyptian Theater for FREE, it was FREE. 15 minutes from where I live (and I tend to go to these Flux events) :(

I'm crying right now. Those flux screenings hardly ever happen anymore, but of course the one time I don't see the notice is the time that all three of the Beastie Boys are there!

thanks Jo. I even thought about going to KCRW when they were gonna be on that to see if I could get a holler and a photo or something, so I knew they were around L.A. But I assumed they wouldn't be involved in anything I didn't already know about.

Yea. It was completely open to the public. I'm on the Flux film screening mailing list, but I could have just forwarded the invite to anybody and we just show up, wait in line, and shake hands. I only read the email today. Epic Fail.

Nice to see a small glimpse of how he's doing and he looks wonderful. :o I can see what appears to be a bandage on his neck so I guess they are still doing a bit of extra procedures on it. (Actually he's just covering up the scar I think!) I guess it's just normal but anyway glad to see him. (y)
