Little shit that makes me :D

Make Some Noise: "Parlay romancin....into financin."

Nonstop Disco Powerpack: Nonstop, goin' off, Kingpin rappin flow by Adrizzle

OK: "What is goin' on in my head" robot break

Too Many Rappers: "Back up off me sucka you ain't sayin' nuthin'"

Say It: Intro into the beat drop

DPNGTICW: The last "Don't play no game that I can't win" on the echo out. Probably the only lyrics I sing when I listen to this song, but I sing it EVERYTIME! :o

LBTF: "I burn ya to a crisp sucka back up off the toasta!"

Funky Donkey: "The pump don't work casue the vandals took the handles"

The Larry Routine: The whole thing....remember seein' it live back in Cali at the GVR skate show. I think it was the 2nd time they ever did it.

Tadlock's Glasses: Flange effect

Lee Majors Come Again: The needle gettin' pulled off the record when Mike comes back in off the break.

Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament: We can make it happen!

HALSFY: The moog break

Crazy Ass Shit: Mike's kids

Lisa Lisa: Money (money) Makin' (makin) New York Citaaaay!!!!

This is fun! good picks. No clue how I could execute mine without sayin tooooooooooo damn much!

Little things for me I know are random. I can't tell you how many times I've told people. "Yeah Yeah right right OK" In response to something they've said to me!

And the whole "You lie like a plain clothes cop" is somehow just one of the best lines ever. I've been trying to understand that lol.

Non Stop: The continuous flow from each b-boy.

Too Many Rappers: Intro! and then when Mike's part comes in the first time. I go crazy!

Say It: The bass, the entire sound! I want an instrumental! Love MCA's beginning lines and then when the say "Once it hits your mind what'cha gonna do!"

Three different beats all held together by the one bassline in Long Burn

The pitch shift when MCA rhymes on Tadlock's

The fact that nobody has ever made a pure rap song out of a pure hardcore track

OK robot break, and the different musical elements brought into focus on each verse

Basslines, smooth and simple, on Nonstop (plus the rhyming obviously)

Multilat being as good as any of their best instros, and primarily being an MCA vehicle

Here's a little somethin for ya having none of the musical features of some of their bigger songs (outside of the structure), yet being more 'Beastie' through unknown means than many of them

Bass revving up for verse 2 of Say It, guitar chords in the middle section, the fact that the vocals are more of a layer on the song

Funky Donkey not giving a fuck, Larry Routine fitting well with it as a result

I could go on

yesss, when its time to get rough!

I like this thread, bunch of little shit that hype songs and need recogniton.

In Nonstop Disco Powerback i love Yauch's echo to Adrock's line, Flow like water out ya toilet bowl. Then shortly after, right at 1.49 the robot voice in the background saying YAA in the middle of the boys proudly shouting there in the house till the break of dawn.

mike does a little drum fill midway through his verse in non-stop, kinda like a killer reminded that this ain't programmed beats. not that you can't simulate drum fills with programmed beats. but you know what i mean. that live instruments feel is emphasized.

as KP says, the robot break in ok is nice, echoing mca's last line. filling in for the chorus. fucking sweet.

make some noise...every time, especially during the versus, mike crashes that cymbal. the crash cymbal i believe.

drum fill / break - again. prior to adrocks last verse in too many rappers.

say it. that 'ahhhhhhh' bit - reminds me off the intro to b-boys makin wit the freak freak. in a fucking good way.

the sax break, post first chorus in don't play no game.

adrocks delivery, second verse of crazy ass shit. got that old school, gradual rise, line by line, thing going on.

the break is here's a little something. comes out of nowhere.

the extra beat between adrocks first verse and mca's in b-boys in the cut. before 'vibrations...' it wasn't there before.

i'll be back for more!

Make Some Noise: The fact that my kids go fuckin mental when it comes on in the car (clean version), my 2 year old son now gives it all the "yeah" and "get up" at the start in tandem with Ad-rock.

Nonstop Disco Powerpack: Strainer. nuff said

OK: the loooooooooong ok

Too Many Rappers: It's all brilliant but the fresh new echo makes it really cool

Say It: tough call between the feedback loop and the outro with the suckers

DPNGTICW: Just the feeling it gives and i already know i'm going to hear it on the sound systems round glastonbury.

LBTF: I'm still to fall in love with this track. there, i said it.

Funky Donkey: The funniest thing they have recorded. There is only ad-rock alive in this world that could pull of his rhymes in this. the whole shitz, glitz, check it thing is top class.

Tadlock's Glasses: discombobulated

Lee Majors Come Again: When AdROck actually says lee majors come again and the start when mike d says the thing is falling off

Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament: It sounds like a beach.

HALSFY: get ready get set

Crazy Ass Shit: MCA's babble on the drum break

Lisa Lisa: the reverse.

nice. (y)

per usual, when you finally do peep the lyrics, there are all types of lines where you're like, "man, I was waayyyy off".

reading their lyrics and researching the references that you're not hip to is always like a lesson in pop culture. strangely, you can learn alot from a bboy album liner notes.

there should be a college course on the bboy lyrical catalogue...
