So Last Tuesday I drove into the country club and like many there is a guard at the entrance.

This guy who works it often is like a guard nazi who has seen me a few times a week for a year but makes me stop and tell him where I am going. Until now...

The last two times he has waved me through and did not even drop the little arm thing that drops in front of each car... all thanks to blasting track #3 on Tuesday headed to the usual Tuesday tee time....

Also, Friday ... I was jammin out in the parking lot at the club and this hummer parks next to me ... nice custom hummer all painted with a pickup truck bed liner ... anyway I dont get excited about hummers ... cars/trucks that is ... he opened his door, looked at me then got back in his hummer ... I was blasting track #12 putting on my shoes at my car. I assumed he was uptight and pissed ... then ...

He then shut me down ... started track #1 and I could not even tell my car stereo was on his was so loud. This guy must have been 50. I am not that far behind him.

Anyway 83 is now my best round so far ... gunnin for something in the 70's, but I always play better with a good beat in my head, this round was played with track # 3 in my head ..."Mike D from New York City" ...

Haha you give me, the guy pumping "track 8" in his minivan as he pulls into the parking lot of your local multinational conglomerate, hope!

I am an older guy @ 40 and I have a pretty nice JL Audio subwoofer and amp in my VW GTI and I get funny looks all the time when I am driving around town with the Beastie Boys cranked up loud in my GTI.
"Check out that old guy jamming some rap in his car!"

:p

Yeah me too. I got stoked when I saw the subject then it was a big letdown.

sorry to let anybody down ... Just love the international language of Beastie Boys that seems to open a few doors...
