Because I’ve seen Beastie dreams posted on the board before, I’d like to share my most recent one with you:

In the dream I was hanging out in a bar/lounge in a Philadelphia subway station (felt similar to the interior of Penn Station in NYC).

I was watching WWE Raw, when the announcer teased that Adrock would be wrestling in a mixed tag team event.

Wait, what?

I tried to take a cell phone picture of the TV screen, but when I did the television monitor had a protective menu screen that popped up and wouldn’t let me photograph the WWE’s images. (DREAMER’S NOTE: In the future, don’t be surprised if this technology is invented to prevent cell phone photographers from capturing images/videos with copyright protection.)

After the break, Adrock was announced as “The King Adrock.” His hair was slicked back and he sported a dragon tattoo over his right shoulder.

Adrock and his female partner were scheduled to wrestle a girl who wore a skin-colored bodysuit and a mammoth guy called, Dane “The Irish Butcher.”

When the female made her way down the aisle I asked myself what Kathleen Hanna would think (WWE divas and feminist Riot Grrls don’t seem like they would see eye to eye, right?).

Dane “The Irish Butcher”—who completely dwarfed Adrock—then made his way to the ring, bringing with him one of those billy-club-looking things with a lasso attached at the end (reminded me of the device used by zoo-keepers to close the mouths of alligators).

As soon as “The Irish Butcher” hit the ring, the arena lights went off, horror music started playing, and the TV production changed to a montage of crime scene photos of “The Irish Butcher” choking Adrock with his device and slamming him down to the concrete floor (not too different from the step-effect the WWE would use for Goldust’s entrance).

The announcer then informed the audience that the Beastie Boys would be taking on Dane “The Irish Butcher” at Wrestlemania.

What does this mean?

It means you've had one of the greatest dreams ever. I used to be a pretty hardcore wrestling fan. (insert ridicule here) I still fucking love Ric Flair, the man's a pimp, but anyway, Beastie Boys at Wrestlemania would be ridiculous. That would be worth ringside tickets.

Crazy dream, but I bet JoLovesMCA has some stories to tell.
