This album really annoys me

Lisa Lisa/Full Force Routine...why, oh why oh why is this not a full length track!? IMO, although only 45 seconds long this is straight up Beastie hip hop and is one of the best tracks I've heard from them in a long time.

2nd annoyance is Pop Your Balloon. I have the track via the delux download but...it's a club floor filler for sure, why is it not on the regular album!?

There's no making sense in making sense of that. I'd say my only hope is that they it least perform those tracks that didn't make the cut. If they do that then it won't be so bad... ;)

Pop The Balloon is all right but i think when you put it against the other albums, its sound and feel doesnt match the rest of it. I was going to mention this earlier but PYB feels like they are trying to emulate other hip hop styles a bit more than usual. Its good but its not authentic BBoys for me.

can anyone describe what they are trying to do with the Lisa Lisa song? Like are the lyrics they sing related to that group?

And I get how it's a two-part song and love how when it changes they go "ohhh" and "what?". that shit's funny. But how does the switching relate to the title? or maybe it doesn't?

not a popular stance but i think that lisa lisa is a halfarsed idea that didnt have a lot of legs but with a lot of production skill they made into a cool bookend in the mould of the rest of the album but i dont think there was much of a track after what we hear. jus sayin that they were just riffin

Thank you. I've been thinking the same thing, although i doubt they'd release a B side as their next single. Was really surprised it didn't make the cut for this record. Only thing i can figure is it has that old school bassline & even though its a great song, it might not have flowed with that reverb/echo/digitized sound of the rest of the record.

At first i was thinking maybe they'd just put it on Part I if that ever gets released, but then its like why do that if they already have the Larry Routine on this record?
