I think vagina sounds more odd as a body part. Penis sounds more comically funny.

'p' is meant to be one of the funnier sounds in the english language so penis should be the funnier word.

on Saturday I started a road trip with the family to the mountains for some fishing and shopping. On the drive in we ended up talking about the words: penis and vagina with my 7 year old who is turning 8.

Seems throughout the trip she would crack a joke with mom and drop the word "vagina" then bust out laughing.

so I say that "vagina" is the funnier of the two.
