Yes, I got the email on/around May 16th including a link for a digital download... However, that link doesn't work when you click on it. However, I typed it manually in the address bar and somehow I got it to work... And I downloaded a standard MP3 version...

2 days ago, my deluxe package arrived in the mail, with a card that had a link saying I could download "a high quality digital version" of the album... Again, the link doesn't work... I was hoping I could get a higher quality mp3 option like flac/lossless audio... but since the links dont work, Im stuck with what I have.

I referred back to the may 16th email and now those links dont appear to work either.

Just to clarify, Im happy with what I got...
I'm just making note of my experience and confusion.

Digital sales is something they should get right. It'd be easy enough to torrent the high quality files if you needed.

I didn't have a problem with my download (just got the standard though) and I buy most my music digitally now anyway but most of it streamed.

Have you tried a different browser? It just might be some obscure security settings you have running and don't know. I run NoScript addon for firefox and it plays havoc with encrypted links sometimes and I often forget to turn it off when I need to make transactions etc.

If you're using someone else's computer, you can install Chrome without admin privileges.

Why not rip the CD lossless? Unless you don't want to open the packaging or something like that. Oh and for people who actually got their lossless download did you get the bonus tracks lossless as well?

I emailed topspin, and they answered very quickly with a link to the digital download... Only problem is that the download was MP3 at 320kbps. Not worth bitching about, but the digital download card says "Your vinyl is accompanied by a high-quality digital version of this album". I responded back saying that I have the tracks, but was hoping for a lossless version... no response (5 days). I guess that either 320kbps MP3's are the new gold standard for high-quality digital audio, or that they are working on it. Either way, you might as well wipe your ass with the digital download card.

So no lossless PYB and BBITC huh? Man and that probably would have been the only way to obtain them lossless. Sorry for all who got the deluxe and dealt with Bottomspin. At least some of you got to talk to Mike D.(y)

You can rip the vinyl. But still, it's weak that they fouled up the FLAC on this.

Topspin replied and said that the label elected not to offer FLAC. So out isn't their fault!
